What is the Sabbath? God worked for six days and rested on the seventh day. He made the seventh day holy. He did something to it, that he did not do to the other six days. |

Since God worked six days and rested on the Sabbath, he wants his people to
observe the Sabbath too. "The Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God."
Since Jesus said He is Lord of the Sabbath (Matt. 12:8), and since Jesus is the

this pattern of 6 days of work and the seventh day for rest. Man was created in
the image of God with a need for the same Sabbath Cycle. |

Which day is the Seventh day? Jesus was crucified on Friday, Rested on Sabbath and was resurrected on Sunday. Since The Sabbath was observed after the crucifixion it could not have been abolished the previous day. |
