Dan 7:23-24 |
The Little Horn arises in Rome, after the division of the empire into the European states and will uproot three of those states. Constantine moved the capital from Rome to Constantinople and gave the Bishop of Rome his authority and power. The leader of the church joined with the political powers of the state to oppose those who would dare oppose her doctrines. This resulted in the uprooting of three Barbarian nations who opposed the Church. |

| 12AC | Rev 13:1-3 |
--The waters symbolize
multitudes of people (17:15) --Just as the Father gave His authority to His Son, Christ who was resurrected from the deadly wound, Satan gives his authority to the Beast whose deadly wound was healed. |
| 13AC | Rev 13:4 | The beast is a religious authority (he is worshipped.) Satan wants to be worshipped, so he gives his authority to the beast and those who worship the beast worship him. |
| 14AC | Rev 13:7 | He is also a political authority with world wide power. |
| 15AC | Rev 13:8 | The entire world acknowledges his authority. |
| 16AC |
Rev 13:11-13 |
Just as the Son sends the Holy Spirit to perform miracles and gather the world into His Church, so the Beast sends the second beast (False Prophet Rev 19:20) to perform miracle s and gather the world into his church. The Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet form a counterfeit to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Beast is Satan's counterfeit "kingdom of God" or church. |
